Did you know that the university receives a postage discount when you meter your mail? If you purchase stamps, the cost per stamp is $0.50 cents each. The cost to meter is only $0.48 cents each. That is a savings of $2 per 100 pieces of mail. If your department does a lot of mailing, you may want to consider metering your mail over buying postage stamps.
