A hands-on class on Wednesday, Feb. 21, will prepare you for the development of position descriptions, filling positions and navigation of the PeopleAdmin system. * The Office of Research will host a brown bag workshop "Conflicts of Interest & Time Commitments" from noon-1:30 p.m. Friday, Feb. 23, in 405 Jardine Hall. This workshop will provide an overview of WSU policy, the disclosure process, management plans and examples of conflicts of interest from academic settings that have made headlines. Please bring your lunch. Tea, water and dessert will be served. Registration is required through myTraining.

Come chat with Wichita-area employers at this causal come-and-go event, and learn how to be a productive employee and make the most of your career. Heavy hors d'oeuvres will be served. * The Fairmount College of Liberal Arts and Sciences will host Dr. David Voran for a lunchtime talk at 12:30 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 22, in 200 Lindquist Hall. Learn more about the versatile skills needed to practice medicine and what being a doctor is really like from a WSU alumnus. This is a great event for premedical students and faculty / staff alike. * University Libraries is holding the workshop "Introduction to Endnote" from noon-1:15 p.m. Friday, Feb. 23, in 217 Ablah Library. Learn to use Endnote to upload citation data from library databases, create new citations in various citation styles, organize citations and insert citations into a MS Word document. * Keep Calm and Breathe On is a great opportunity to structure relaxation time into your week. Learn relaxation, mindfulness and meditation techniques with the overall goal of managing stress, increasing well-being and leading a healthier life. Join us on from 12:15-12:45 p.m. on Wednesdays in 257 RSC for a relaxation group led by a licensed counselor. It's free and open to all faculty, staff and students.
