* The RSC is joining other WSU departments today (Friday, Feb. 16) to celebrate Random Acts of Kindness Day on campus! Random surprises will be happening throughout campus that day, so be on the lookout. Share your Shocker kindness with us that day using #ShockerKindness.

* The School of Performing Arts invites you to join them for "I Love You Because" at 7:30 p.m. today (Friday, Feb. 16) and Saturday, Feb. 17, and 2 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 18, in Welsbacher Theatre, Hughes Metropolitan Complex. * Talk with Toby is a new education series by Wellness Services that addresses a number of issues facing our students every day. Our first session from noon-1 p.m. Monday, Feb. 19, in the Heskett Center lobby will be a walk-in walk-out session offering free food and all the information you need to know about what's in your food and what effect it has on your body. Our emotional support dog, Toby, will be present for interactions. We understand that the truth about food can be hard to digest.

* Applications for the Shocker New Venture Competition are open! Applications and three-minute videos are due Monday, March 5. * "Career Options for the English Student," will be presented at 3 p.m. Friday, Feb. 23, in 111 Lindquist Hall. Undergraduate and graduate students are welcome to attend.

* Ray Wills will be the featured speaker in a WSU Alumni Association Distinguished Alumni Speaker Series presentation at 5:30 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 22, at WSU's Marcus Welcome Center. There is a cost of $5 per person for WSU students. The price includes hors d'oeuvres and drinks.
