Black History Month keynote by Robert E. Weems, Jr. today (Tuesday, Feb. 20)

Robert E. Weems, Jr., the Willard W. Garvey Distinguished Professor of Business History at Wichita State, will present "The History of Wichita's Dunbar Theater," at 6 p.m. today (Tuesday, Feb. 20) in 208 Hubbard Hall.

Established during an era of de-facto racial segregation, Wichita's Dunbar Theater became a multi-faceted resource for local African Americans. This presentation will examine the birth, development, decline and resurrection of one of Wichita's iconic community institutions.
