* An IME Colloquium, "Security and Privacy in the Industrial Internet of Things (IoT)" from 11 a.m.-noon today (Friday, Feb. 23) in 211 Engineering Building. Sergio A. Salinas Monroy, assistant professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at WSU, will discuss cyber vulnerabilities introduced by IoT, recent developments in secure big data analysis and industrial control system security. * KPERS 457 Deferred Compensation Plan is a voluntary, supplemental, retirement account open to all WSU employees. * WSU head men's basketball coach Gregg Marshall is competing for the fifth year in a row, representing the Wichita Children's Home, in the 2018 Infinity Charity Coaches Challenge. Each charity is guaranteed $1,000, with escalating values for each round. The coach with the most votes after the final round wins $100,000 for his charity.
