W-S-YOU is an event for admitted high school seniors and transfer students. This come-and-go program will run from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday, March 10. Students who have definitely decided to be Shockers will be encouraged to complete their next steps toward enrollment by submitting housing contracts, registering for orientation and speaking with an advisor about their first semester at WSU. Students who are still deciding will have opportunities to speak with financial aid, hear from a panel of faculty members, speak with admissions and more.
Thanks to everyone who is involved with this important yield event. Last year, 94 percent of the 353 students who attended enrolled at WSU this past fall. Interested students should go to http://www.wichita.edu/visit and click on Admissions Events to register.
