Reminders, deadlines and events

* Stop by the Bangladesh Student Association booth from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. today (Wednesday, Feb. 21) on the first floor, RSC, as we promote and celebrate International Mother Language Day. Learn about the history behind this day, get crafty, design boards with words or anything in your language.

* Stop by the Rhatigan Student Center every Wednesday for the live music series, RSC Unplugged. The Tom Page Trio will perform from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. today (Wednesday, Feb. 21) in the RSC's Starbucks Lounge.

* The men's basketball team will host Tulane at 6:30 p.m. today (Wednesday, Feb. 21) in Charles Koch Arena. For tickets, call 978-FANS (3267).

* Ray Wills will be the featured speaker in a WSU Alumni Association Distinguished Alumni Speaker Series presentation at 5:30 p.m. tomorrow (Thursday, Feb. 22) at WSU's Marcus Welcome Center. There is a cost of $5 per person for Innovation Campus employees, WSU students, faculty and staff. The price includes hors d'oeuvres and drinks. * The 2018 Health Fair will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 28, in the Heskett Center upstairs gymnasium. Join hundreds of Shockers as you participate in aerobic demonstrations, receive medical screenings and wellness tips from more than 50 vendor booths from WSU departments and around the community. Receive a free healthy Shocker T-shirt and free food and beverage samples.

* An African-style Cirque du Soleil, Cirque Zuma Zuma will feature an array of never before seen talent mixed with the traditional acts associated with African variety arts. Come and experience this once-in-a-lifetime performance at 6 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 28, 6 in the CAC Theater. Admission is free to WSU students with Shocker ID, $3 faculty/staff and Innovation Campus employees; $5 general admission and $1 for kids 12 and under. The event will be fun for all ages.
