Physics and chemistry talks today (Wednesday, Feb. 28)

Mark Christl with NASA will present "An Advanced Neutron Spectrometer for Manned Exploration" at 2 p.m. today (Wednesday, Feb. 28) in 128 Jabara Hall. Refreshments and discussion follow the presentation. An overview of the Advanced Neutron Spectrometer will be presented that describes the technique and design of the instrument and some results from the exposure aboard the International Space Station. The talk is part of the Physics Seminar Series

The Chemistry Colloquium will feature a talk by Professor Benjamin Garcia from the University of Pennsylvania at 3:30 p.m. today (Wednesday, Feb. 28) in 224 McKinley Hall. The talk will be "Quantitative Proteomics for Understanding Modified Proteins and Proteomes."
