* Join the Career Development Center and Office of International Education for the International Student Career Workshop from 8:30 a.m.-noon today (Friday, March 2) in 142 RSC. This workshop is designed to provide information for international students seeking employment upon graduation.
* Applications are open for Mortar Board, a senior honor society. We value scholarship, leadership and service, and are looking for members who exemplify these qualities. To be eligible, you must have completed at least 90 credit hours by the beginning of the fall 2018 semester and have at least a 3.2 GPA. Applications are due today (Friday, March 2). * The WSU School of Performing Arts invites you to a performance of "Little Women in Concert" at 7:30 p.m. today (Friday, March 2) and Saturday, March 3; and 2 p.m. Sunday, March 4, in Wilner Auditorium. * At 11 p.m. today (Friday, March 2) through 3 a.m. Saturday, March 3, WSU's Blackboard server will experience intermittent periods of downtime as Blackboard conducts server infrastructure maintenance. Students and faculty are encouraged not to attempt logging on to Blackboard during this window. If you have questions, contact OneStop for Blackboard support.

* The Graduate School Professional Development Series presents "The Struggle Is Real: How to Handle Your Classroom Like a Pro," from noon-1:30 p.m. Wednesday, March 7, in 142 Harvest Room. Lunch will be provided for the first 30 who attend.
* Stop by the Silent Auction on Wednesday, March 7, to benefit Alternative Spring Break 2018 and bid on gift cards, tickets and great items from local businesses. Walk by the tables in the Rhatigan Student Center between 11 a.m. and 12:59 p.m., and write your name and contact information along with a bid. At 1 p.m. the highest bidders will be contacted to pay for and pick up their items within 24 hours.
* The English Department is hosting "Applying to Graduate School" at 3 p.m. Friday, March 9, in 100 Lindquist Hall. The event is for students who are interested in pursuing an advanced degree in English -- composition and rhetoric, literature, linguistics or creative writing.
