* Airbus and WSU are partnering with organizations around the globe in an international effort to break a Guinness World Record. Join "Help Launch the World Record" at 11 a.m. tomorrow (Thursday, March 8) at the RSC east entrance and patio to support the Women of Aviation Worldwide Week. Registration will be available 10:30-10:55 a.m. on March 8. Take-off for our time zone is at exactly 11 a.m. Thursday, March 8. Participants are encouraged to come early to register, fold a plane and prepare for an 11 a.m. launch.

* Are you interested in learning more about design patents? Join us for a virtual presentation by Supervisory Patent Examiner, Garth Rademaker. Admission is free. RSVP at http://libresources.wichita.edu/ERS.

* The Call for Abstracts for the 2018 Undergraduate and Creative Activity Forum (URCAF) is now open. This year's forum will be held Friday, April 6, in the RSC, and provides an excellent opportunity for undergraduate students at Wichita State to present their scholarly and creative activities to a faculty, student and community audience, while competing for cash awards. * If you need help with filing your taxes, feel free to visit the Office of Student Money Management in 115 Neff Hall. We are open from 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday through Friday, and the tax help is free. * Interested in becoming a student leader on campus? The Student Activities Council (SAC) is seeking chairperson and officer positions for the 2018-19 academic year. As an executive board member you will gain valuable leadership, event planning and management and marketing experience. * The Lambda Alpha Symposium was created to encourage and recognize student research in the field of anthropology. The 20th annual student symposium on Saturday, April 7, provides students an opportunity to present a 15-minute presentation and discuss current research in an atmosphere conducive to professional development.
