Diverse Women's Summit starts today (Wednesday, March 7)

Representative Ponka-We Victors of District 103 in the Kansas House of Representatives will give a lecture as the keynote speaker of the Diverse Women's Summit at 7 p.m. today (Wednesday, March 7) in 208 Hubbard Hall. Intersectionality is this year's theme. The summit is co-sponsored by the WSU Department of Women's Studies & Religion and the Office of Diversity and Inclusion.

A women's study showcase with faculty and student presentations will be held from 8 a.m.-3:45 p.m. tomorrow (Thursday, March 8) in the third floor, Shirley Beggs Ballroom, RSC.

The Jan Henrie Program will be held Thursday, March 8, with a Dockum excursion at 5 p.m. and dinner at 6:30 p.m. There will be presentations and session breakouts from 8 a.m.-noon Friday, March 9.
