* The Graduate School Professional Development Series will present "Impactful PowerPoint: Tips for Engaging Presentations" from 5-6:30 p.m. today (Thursday, March 15) in 265 RSC.

* The Office of Diversity and Inclusion will be closed, starting at 1 p.m. today (Thursday, March 15) for the Phenomenal Women Awards Ceremony. The office will resume normal business hours on Friday, March 16.

* Are you ready to get started with HealthQuest? Join the HR Total Rewards team for an interactive session in which you can earn up to four points from 10:30 a.m.-noon Thursday, March 22, in 122 Jabara Hall. *LEAD Conference is a regional leadership drive-in conference that is being held on June 6. This year, LEAD Conference is looking for individuals who are passionate about leadership development to facilitate a workshop session, provide a presentation, or give a TED-Talk style presentation on a leadership topic that's relevant to faculty, staff and students. * The University Bookstore is now taking orders for faculty and staff who need regalia for the spring 2018 Commencement. The deadline for purchasing custom academic regalia is 4 p.m. tomorrow (Friday, March 16). The deadline for renting regalia is 4 p.m. Friday, April 6. Call Julie at 978-7021 or email bookstore@wichita.edu to place your order or if you have questions. You may also come by the bookstore between 8 a.m.-4 p.m. Monday through Friday. Payment is due at the time you place your order. Orders placed after the deadline will incur additional shipping and handling charges.

* The President's Distinguished Service Awards and the unclassified professionals' Wayne Carlisle Distinguished Service Award will be presented during the Shocker Pride Celebration Wednesday, April 11, in the Shirley Beggs Ballroom, third floor, RSC. There will be a reception to meet and greet the honorees at 3 p.m., followed by the awards presentation at 3:30 p.m.
