The 3rd annual W-S-YOU program on Saturday, March 10, was a huge success! Thank you to the many Wichita State staff, faculty and students who were on campus this past Saturday visiting with prospective students. In 2017 at W-S-YOU, there were 353 students and 770 total people who attended. This year we hosted 515 students and 1,258 total people. A brief breakdown of the students who attended follows.

- 37 percent of the students who attended were from Wichita and the surrounding suburban areas
- 7 percent of the students who attended will be transfer students in the fall of 2018
- 22 percent of the students who attended were from out-of-state, with 48 students traveling from Oklahoma, 22 from Missouri and 19 from Texas. Additionally, students came to the event from Arkansas, Colorado, Idaho, Illinois, Iowa, Minnesota, Nebraska, New Mexico, Ohio, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Tennessee and Wisconsin.

The academic colleges had 470 scheduled advising appointments. Additionally, 220 students completed the pre-enrollment survey during the event.

More than 115 students paid their housing application fee and/or the housing prepayment while on campus.

Financial aid reported meeting with 203 students and families.
