Reminders, deadlines and events

* The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Tulsa District, in conjunction with the WSU Kansas Procurement Technical Assistance Center, will host a government contracting informational meeting from 9-11:30 a.m. today (Wednesday, March 21) at WSU Old Town, 238 N. Mead (Harvester Room).

* Are you ready to get started with HealthQuest? Would you like to earn some HealthQuest points in the process? Join the HR Total Rewards team for an interactive session in which you can earn up to four points! The session will be held from 10:30 a.m.-noon tomorrow (Thursday, March 22) in 122 Jabara Hall. * The deadline for University Research / Creative Award (URCA) applications is Friday, April 6. URCA funding allows recipients to retool or reestablish productive research / creative projects agenda. * Shocker Sports Grill & Lanes is having a deal on bowling games for Spring Break! From now to Sunday, March 25, you can enjoy $2 bowling games all day. * The Fire and Safety Department will test fire alarms in buildings across campus between 7 a.m.-4 p.m. today (Wednesday, March 21) through Tuesday, March 27. During the test the fire alarm will sound briefly for 10-20 seconds. This is only a test of the system. If the alarm goes longer than this test time or at any time not during the designated test time, treat the alarm as a real alarm and evacuate the building.
