Reminders, deadlines and events

* Based on a portfolio review, the Ulrich Museum Alliance will grant a $500 scholarship award to an undergraduate and graduate student currently enrolled in the School of Art, Design and Creative Industries for the spring 2018 semester. Applications are available online at http://www.wichita.edu/j/?6303 or at the front desk of the Ulrich Museum. The application deadline is noon today (Friday, March 16).

* The LAS Advising Center will be closed today (Friday, March 16) for staff development and training. The advising center will reopen at 8 a.m. Monday, March 19.

* The WSU baseball team will host Oklahoma University at 6 p.m. Tuesday, March 20, at Eck Stadium. Admission is free for students with a WSU ID.

* The baseball team will host Furman at 6 p.m. Friday, March 23; 2 p.m. Saturday, March 24; and 11:30 a.m. Sunday, March 25, at Eck Stadium. Admission is free for students with a WSU ID.

* WSU softball team will host Memphis at 6 p.m. Friday, March 23; 3 p.m. Saturday, March 24; and 11 a.m. Sunday, March 25, at Wilkins Stadium. Admission is free for students with a WSU ID.

* You're invited to an Election Informational from 5:30-7 p.m. Monday, March 26, in 233 RSC. The event will allow students to get a better understanding of what Student Government Association is and how the election process works. We would love to see you attend and to encourage better voter turnout for this year's election. Food will also be provided.

* Spring is here which means it's baseball season! Join Campus Recreation as we take a group to watch the Kansas City Royals take on the Los Angeles Angels at Kauffman Stadium on Sunday, April 15. Transportation, game ticket and meal after the game is all included in the price. Sign up by Friday, April 6, at bit.ly/CROutdoorAdventures. Space is limited to 25 people. * LEAD Conference is a regional leadership drive-in conference that is being held on June 6. This year, LEAD Conference is looking for individuals who are passionate about leadership development to facilitate a workshop session, provide a presentation, or give a TED-Talk style presentation on a leadership topic that's relevant to faculty, staff and students.
