Reminders, deadlines and events

* The Fire and Safety Department will test fire alarms in buildings across campus between 7 a.m.-4 p.m. today (Tuesday, March 20) through Tuesday, March 27. During the test the fire alarm will sound briefly for 10-20 seconds. This is only a test of the system. If the alarm goes longer than this test time or at any time not during the designated test time, treat the alarm as a real alarm and evacuate the building.

* The RSC and some of its departments have altered hours during Spring Break. For specific department hours this week, go to http://www.wichita.edu/rschours

* Are you ready to get started with HealthQuest? Would you like to earn some HealthQuest points in the process? Join the HR Total Rewards team for an interactive session in which you can earn up to four points from 10:30 a.m.-noon Thursday, March 22, in 122 Jabara Hall. Advance registration is not required, but would be appreciated in order to ensure that we have adequate resources prepared. More information is available at http://www.wichita.edu/totalrewardslabs

* The President's Distinguished Service Awards and the unclassified professionals' Wayne Carlisle Distinguished Service Award will be presented during the Shocker Pride Celebration Wednesday, April 11, in the Shirley Beggs Ballroom, third floor, RSC. There will be a reception to meet and greet the honorees at 3 p.m., followed by the awards presentation at 3:30 p.m. Please respond to the Shocker Pride Celebration invitation and confirm attendance by Wednesday, April 4, at http://www.wichita.edu/shockerpridersvp

* Student Activities Council is recruiting organizations to participate in the Spring 2018 Finals Frenzy Week from Monday, April 30 to Saturday, May 5. Finals Frenzy takes place each semester during finals week in hopes to reduce stress through educational and entertaining programs. If you are interested in hosting an event this spring or finding out more information about Finals Frenzy, complete the registration form at http://www.wichita.edu/FinalsFrenzy by 5 p.m. Wednesday, April 4.
