Shocker Honors Scholar receptions are events to recognize the top 10 percent of high school juniors on their academic achievements. This spring, Admissions will host two receptions off-campus -- one in Oklahoma City on Thursday, March 29, and one in the Kansas City area on Sunday, April 15, for students from those locations. This will be the first year for the program in Oklahoma City and the third for the Kansas City area. Departments interested in traveling to the Kansas City program on April 15 should contact Ellen Nikkel at ellen.nikkel@wichita.edu. At the event, departments can expect to host an informational table and speak with students about their area. Transportation and dinner will be provided by the Office of Admissions.
