* The Shocker night life committee is sponsoring a show by comedian Jen Kober at 8 p.m. today (Friday, Sept. 11) in the CAC Theater. Free for WSU students w/ID; $2 for faculty and staff; and $3 for the general public.

* Nominations are being accepted for the 2009 Shocktoberfest Man and Woman of the Year competition. The nomination form and application packet are located at http://www.wichita.edu/sac under "Downloadable Forms."
