* The Michael Tilford Conference on Diversity and Multiculturalism will be held Monday and Tuesday, Oct. 5-6, at the University of Kansas. This year's theme is "Diversity in Higher Education: Challenges & Opportunities for Kansas." The conference is provided at no cost. * Judges are needed for the Man and Woman of the Year candidates with interviews starting at noon Thursday, Oct. 8. If you are interested in judging, contact the RSC Activities Office at 978-3495.

* Wichita State is committed to maintaining an environment free of sexual harassment where all can develop intellectually, professionally and personally. * Satellite Shocks will be held this week at the WSU West and South Campus. Representatives from many WSU departments will be at the West Campus from 5-7:30 p.m. today (Monday, Sept. 14) and at the South Campus Tuesday, Sept. 15. Information tables will be out all week for students to obtain information on the free student services offered at WSU.

* The Heskett Center is offering an adult swim lessons class to those 18 and older. A class for beginners will meet from 7-7:45 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays, Sept. 15, to Oct. 8.
