Career Services encourages support for Dress for Success

Career Services provides WSU faculty, staff and students the opportunity to donate to the Dress for Success Wichita organization. The mission of Dress for Success is to promote the economic independence of disadvantaged women by providing professional attire, a network of support and the career development tools to help women thrive in work and in life. Career Services regularly includes Dress for Success as an important part of its fall and spring career fairs.

A donation box will be located at Career Services from Monday, Sept. 21, until 9 a.m. Monday, Sept. 28. Because of the Career Fair Thursday, Sept. 24, donations will be accepted from 4-7 p.m. that day in Charles Koch Arena. Your contributions will help Wichita women in need.

As you sort through your fall and winter clothing, please consider donating gently used suits and business attire you no longer need to this worthy organization. Career Services will accept women's interview attire, shoes and handbags, briefcases, jewelry, scarves, unused cosmetics, travel-size toiletries, new undergarments and both regular and plus-sized pantyhose. Especially needed for fall and winter are gloves, scarves and professional coats. Your contributions will help Wichita women in need.
