Faculty and staff to be recognized for service to WSU Faculty and staff to be recognized for service to WSU

The ceremony and reception to induct eligible faculty and staff into the Bender of Twigs will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 22, in the Rhatigan Student Center ballroom. Bender of Twigs are faculty and staff with 25 years of service to Wichita State University. Honorees recognized for 25 years on Tuesday, Sept. 15, were recognized for 25 years of state service, which may include employment at other state institutions or departments outside of WSU.

The 2009 honorees are Brenda Achey, Judith Babnich, Wilson Baldridge, Deborah Baxter, William Bischoff, Margaret Carter, Diane Diaz, Jane Eshelman, Gary Goldsmith, Donald Harkness, David Haury, Janelle Heier, Walter Horn, Donna Hughes, Kirsten Johnson, Stuart Lasine, Carol Lewis, George McClary, Nancy McKellar, Deborah Mitchum, Gawad Nagati, Carroll Newman, Charles Newman, Lois Nicholas, Alva Olmstead, Craig Owens, Bobby Parmely, Iola Russell, Marilyn Ryan, Bill Sullivan, Jonelle Turner, Melinda Ware, Susan Wells and Robert Zettle.
