Diving lessons, stroke clinics, swimming and gymnastics lessons

Weekly diving lessons, monthly swim stroke clinics, American Red Cross Learn to Swim classes and gymnastics classes will be offered at the Heskett Center starting Friday and Saturday, Sept. 25 and 26. If you have questions, call Sheana at 978-5311.

Diving lessons will be offered from 10-11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 26, to Nov. 7, with instructor Mitch Nord at the Heskett Center Nanatorium. Classes are for boys and girls who have completed level four of Red Cross swimming lessons. The cost is $30 for members, $40 for nonmembers.

The first monthly swimming stroke clinic will be held from 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Friday, Sept. 25, with Sheana Clark at the Heskett Center. The cost is $5 for members and $10 for nonmembers. Additional clinics will be held Oct. 23 and Nov. 20. Sign up at the Heskett Center business office 24 hours prior to class time.

American Red Cross Learn to Swim begins at 10 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 26. Lessons will meet Saturdays through Nov. 7, excluding Fall Break on Oct. 17. Parent and child classes, along with Level I and Level II, will run from 10-10:30 a.m. and cost $26 for members, $36 for nonmembers. Levels III-IV run from 10-10:45 a.m. and cost $30 for members, $40 from nonmembers. Sign up at the Heskett Center business office.

Gymnastics classes begin Saturday, Sept. 26, and run through Saturday, Nov. 7. Classes for beginners run from 9:15-10 a.m. Intermediate classes run from 10:15 a.m.-11:30 a.m. Classes will be led by Regan Williams. The cost is $30 for members, $40 for nonmembers.
