* This year's Michael Tilford Conference on Diversity and Multiculturalism is less than two weeks away, Monday and Tuesday, Oct. 5-6, at the University of Kansas. This year's theme is "Diversity in Higher Education: Challenges and Opportunities for Kansas." The conference is free. * In an effort to consider possible solutions to help prevent students from becoming a dropout statistic, a dropout prevention regional pre-summit for the Wichita region will be held from noon-2 p.m. today (Friday, Sept. 25) in the Workforce Learning Center, lower level, 150 N. * The Kansas Public Health Association contracted with WSU's Continuing Education Conference Office to manage its 66th annual conference, which was held earlier this week. WSU's conference office handles all planning, marketing, registration, finances and logistics.
