FOCUS (Feminists on Campus Uniting Students) and the Wichita Area Sexual Assault Center will hold the annual "Get Carded" days from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Monday and Tuesday, Sept. 28-29, at the Rhatigan Student Center. Get Carded is a national initiative sponsored by the Rape, Abuse, and Incest National Network (RAINN).

According to statistics provided by RAINN, one in six women and one in 33 men will experience a sexual assault in their lifetimes, and college women are four times more likely to experience a sex crime. Unfortunately, only 6 percent of rapists ever spend a day in jail. For these reasons, the focus of this year's table will be "Speak Out" against rape and sexual assault on our campus and in our communities.
