A panel discussion, "Academic Authorship," will be held from noon-1:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 1, in 307-309 NIAR. Panelists will discuss best practices in various disciplines regarding how to establish authorship on published research involving more than one researcher, including the ethics of including or not including individuals as authors. This is the third event in the Responsible Conduct of Research series co-sponsored by the Center for Teaching and Research Excellence and the Office of Research Administration. The goal is to promote a campuswide conversation on practical, financial and ethical issues in research. All are welcome. Lunch will be provided to those who RSVP to ctre@wichita.edu.
