NOvA experiment sees strong evidence for antineutrino oscillation
WSU physics professors Mathew Muether, Holger Meyer and Nick Solomey, along with graduate students Alan Cedeno and Sef Altakarli and numerous undergraduate physics majors, participated in running the NOvA experiment from the WSU remote operations center and pursue analysis of the NOvA data. WSU focuses on neutrino interaction cross section measurements with the NOvA near detector. These cross section measurements can help improve the sensitivity of the neutrino oscillation measurements.
