The WSU Department of Geology, in coordination with the Department of Geology at the University of Kansas, will hold a colloquium featuring Shanan Peters from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He will present "Environmental determinants of macroevolutionary patterns in the North American fossil record." The colloquium will be held in the ITV classroom in the Media Resources center at 4 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 1. Any interested faculty, staff or students are welcome to attend.
