* The Faculty Artist Series continues with a fantastic duo recital featuring Paul Brodene-Smith, tenor, and Andrew Trechak, piano, at 7:30 p.m. today (Tuesday, Oct. 6) in Wiedemann Hall. For tickets, call 978-3233.

* If you know students who would like to travel to Europe, Carolyn Shaw is taking reservations for a travel seminar May 18-June 2. A $200 deposit is due by Thursday, Oct. 15, to reserve a spot. * A bake sale in honor of Sedgwick County Sheriff Deputy Brian Etheridge, a 2005 graduate from WSU, will be held from 7:30 a.m.-noon Wednesday and Thursday, Oct. 7-8, on the first floor of Lindquist Hall. All proceeds will go to the Etheridge family. The bake sale is sponsored by the Criminal Justice Student Association and the School of Community Affairs.

* This month's lunch-n-learn lecture series begins at 12:10 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 7, in 105 Heskett Center. You are encouraged to bring your lunch. Small snacks will be provided. The title of the lecture is "Why Do I Need To Floss?," by Dawn McGlasson, clinical educator in WSU's dental hygiene department.
