WSU President Don Beggs will congratulate the WSU bowling teams on their success last season as well as their recognition from the U.S. House of Representatives at 4 p.m. today (Wednesday, Oct. 7) in 203 RSC. Faculty, staff and students are invited to watch the 10-minute CSPAN rebroadcast of the House of Representatives tribute in Washington, D.C., on Sept. 23. House Resolution 455 congratulated the Shocker men and women for their national championship sweep at the USBC Intercollegiate Team Championships in April. The resolution was brought by Kansas Rep. Todd Tiahrt and supported by Rep. Mazie Hirono of Hawaii and Rep. Glenn Thompson of Pennsylvania.
