Operation Holiday is gathering gently worn items for its annual warm clothes holiday project. One part of Operation Holiday is the distribution of warm coats, blankets, sweaters, gloves, hats and scarves for adults and children. If you have an excess of these items in your closets/household that you are not using, please consider donating them to Operation Holiday. The College of Health Professions classified staff organization will sponsor this project on campus. Place donations in the box close to the second floor phones near the elevators in Ahlberg Hall.
If you have clothing, especially for children, you may also place those in the box.
If there are enough donated items, an Operation Holiday staff member will come pick them up. If you need your items picked up, send an e-mail to aurora.mendia@wichita.edu or call 978-6378.
