The NCAA Division I Women's Basketball Committee has selected Intrust Bank Arena and Wichita State University as host for the 2011 NCAA Women's Tournament first- and second-round games on Saturday, March 19 and Monday, March 21, or Sunday, March 20 and Tuesday, March 22, 2011. It marks the first time the community has played host to the women's tournament, as Wichita will play host to a NCAA Tournament for the first time since 1994. Final dates for the tournament will be announced next June. Wichita joins Shreveport, La., as first-time hosts of the women's tournament. For more information, go to http://www.wichita.edu/j/?301.
