Russell-Marti Conservation Services recently completed its annual round of cleaning and inspecting WSU's outdoor sculpture collection. The team also added netting beneath the Miro mosaic on the museum's facade to catch pieces of glass and marble that come loose from the adhesive because of constant humidity and temperature changes. Russell-Marti is in the process of preparing a comprehensive, multi-year restoration plan for the 28-by-52-foot mosaic, the only one of its kind in the country.
