Reminders

* WSU's International Education and the International Student Union have announced activities for International Education Week Nov. 16-20. For information on this week's events, go to http://www.wichita.edu/j/?308.

* The University Libraries and College of Engineering are sponsoring a training session for faculty and students on the IEEE/IET Electronic Library -- an online resource that provides access to almost one-third of the world's current literature in electrical engineering, communications and computer science from 1-2 p.m. today (Monday, Nov. 16) in 123 Wallace Hall.

* The Garvey International Center, home of international education at WSU, will have an open house from 2-5 p.m. today (Monday, Nov. 16). The building is on the southeast corner of Hillside and 17th Street.

* Faculty and staff are invited to celebrate teaching at the annual reception of The Academy for Effective Teaching (AET) from 2-3:30 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 17, in 203 RSC. President Don Beggs will speak, and new members of the academy will be inducted. Wine and light snacks will be served. Please RSVP to ctre@wichita.edu.

* The payroll office reminds faculty and staff to verify addresses on Self Service because W-2 time is near. Because employees no longer receive pay stubs, employees may not know the current address that Human Resources has on file. Go to the faculty staff tab under Self Service and click on personal information. If it is incorrect, contact HR at 978-3065.

* The Center for Student Leadership is offering Service Splash for students to collectively serve and make an impact on the lives of those in the Wichita community. Service Splash is scheduled for 10 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 21. For more information, go to:
