* The Sunflower has extended the deadline to submit information and details about your campus-sponsored charity event for the holidays to Tuesday, Nov. 24. There is no charge for this event listing. Please submit information and a contact name and number to editor@thesunflower.com.

* Experience recipes from around the world, including Middle Eastern (Halal), African, Asian and South American foods at an international dinner from 4:30-7 p.m. today (Friday, Nov. 20) in the Fairmount Towers Cafeteria. The cost is $7.50 plus tax for adults and $4.50 plus tax for children.

* The WSU women's basketball team will host Western Illinois at 7 p.m. today (Friday, Nov. 20) in Charles Koch Arena. Faculty and staff can purchase tickets for only $5. * A newly released documentary by Brave New Films asks us to "Rethink Afghanistan." The documentary will be shown at 3 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 22, in 209 Hubbard Hall. "Rethink Afghanistan" presents a vivid and gripping picture of the truth on the ground.

* Campus Recreation is recruiting volunteers to serve as Wellness Champions for their department. So far, 4 percent of the departments at WSU are participating.
