* If you have an event Jan. 19-29, Student Activities would like to include it in its annual Welcomefest celebration. Departments and organizations can submit program proposals to the Student Activities Council by Thursday, Dec. 3. For submission forms, go to http://www.wichita.edu/j/?325.

* You are invited to attend the last Lunch-N-Learn for the semester at 12:10 p.m. today (Wednesday, Dec. 2) in 105 Heskett Center. Heskett staff will share how to de-stress during the holidays. Enjoy free chair massages along with light snacks and comforting hot teas.

* The Brown Bag Diversity Discussion "Establishing Collaboration and Linkage between American and African Universities: Needs, Strategies and Challenges" will be held from 12:30-1:30 p.m. today (Wednesday, Dec. 2) in 104 Ahlberg Hall. The discussion will be led by Ngoyi Bukonda of the College of Health Professions.

* The Fall 2009 Physics Seminar Series on energy-physics related research concludes with a presentation by Rajendran Raja with Fermilab in Batavia, Ill., called "A Thorium Accelerator Energy Production Method" at 2 p.m. today (Wednesday, Dec. 2) in 128 Jabara Hall.

* The women's basketball team will host Loyola at 7:05 p.m. today (Wednesday, Dec. 2) in Charles Koch Arena. Call 978-3267 for tickets.

* The "Stuff the Bus" project, in support of the Wichita women's shelters, has collection boxes in Morrison Hall, Jardine Hall, Grace Wilkie Hall, Lindquist Hall, NIAR, Ahlberg Hall, Media Resources Center, Heskett Center, West Campus and South Campus. The bus will pick up donations at 9:45 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 3.
