Fine arts getting star treatment on WSU-TV

December's "Wichita State & The World" focuses on the local and worldwide impact of performers trained at WSU. The show, hosted by Provost Gary Miller, includes a studio interview with College of Fine Arts Dean Rodney Miller, who recently performed the title role in the Wichita Grand Opera production of "The Mikado." There are also videotaped performance segments and interviews with WSU arts faculty members Mark Laycock and Nick Johnson. "Wichita State & The World" airs on WSU-TV, Channel 13 on Cox Cable throughout December. The next show airs at 1 a.m. Friday, Dec. 11; 9 a.m. Monday, Dec. 14; 3 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 15; and 8 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 17.
