WSU to name two $48,000 Gore Scholarship winners

Two high school seniors will be introduced as the latest Gore Scholarship recipients at 11:30 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 10, at Wichita State University's Marcus Welcome Center. The media are welcome to attend.

The students competed in the largest Distinguished Scholarship Invitational in history, with 375 competitors. The two winners will receive the Harry Gore Memorial scholarship worth $48,000, the largest individual undergraduate scholarship in Kansas.
