Reminders

* WSU Dance Team 2010 calendars are available to purchase for $15. Profits help with the cost of the team's participation at the MVC Tournament, scholarships and new uniforms. You can purchase calendars from any Dance Team member or the Center for Student Leadership, 008 in the Rhatigan Student Center. For more information, call 978-3022.

* WSU Performance Facilities is having a CD sale with a Buy-One-Get-One offer now through Friday, Dec. 18. Enjoy the music of WSU student ensembles, faculty ensembles and some guest recitals from 1999 to the present. Come to the Fine Arts Box Office to make an order or call 978-3233.

* To nominate a faculty member for an Excellence in Research, Excellence in Creative Activity or Excellence in Community Research award, go to the Office of Research Administration home page for nomination documents at http://www.wichita.edu/j/?337. Nominations are due in the ORA office by Friday, Dec. 18. For more information, contact Penny Warfel, at 978-6803 or penny.warfel@wichita.edu.

* The University Behavioral Intervention Team uses a multidisciplinary approach to prevent individuals from harming themselves or others, and help persons in need. All employees and students are encouraged to attend a workshop from 10-11 a.m. today (Thursday, Dec. 17) in Wallace Auditorium, Marcus Welcome Center. To enroll or for more help, contact LaMar at 978-3068.

* Please turn in WSU Foundation requisitions by 5 p.m. Monday, Dec. 21, for checks to be issued on Wednesday, Dec. 23. All gift money for 2009 should be at the WSU Foundation by noon Tuesday, Jan. 5. Credit cards must be processed by Thursday, Dec. 31, to receive credit for 2009. If you receive a gift on a credit card, call Skip Swearingen at 978-3816 or Mel Arnold at 978-5215 by 2 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 31, so they may process it immediately.
