Thanks to nearly 60 donors, the Holiday Card Scholarship fund received more than $2,000 this season -- an increase of about 20 percent compared with a year ago. The WSU tradition was established in 1962 by the late Nicholas Pronko, professor emeritus of psychology. Pronko felt that money normally spent on cards and postage would help fund a scholarship for deserving students. The names of contributors are listed at http://www.wichita.edu/j/?374.
