* The Office of Multicultural Affairs is planning the second annual MLK Unity Week, Jan. 18-22. If your department or organization plans campus events related to the birthday of Martin Luther King Jr., please submit the event for inclusion on our MLK Calendar of Events. Submit information by Friday, Jan. 8, to patsy.sheffield@wichita.edu or call 978-6187.
* Join students, faculty and staff for a library orientation on Thursday, Jan. 14. One orientation will be held from 11 a.m.-noon, and one from 7-8 p.m. in Ablah Library. For posters, contact Angela Paul at 978-5084 or angela.paul@wichita.edu.
* The WSU Track and Field program will host a championship barbecue dinner from 5:30-7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 19, in the All American Club at Eck Stadium before the men's basketball game. The cost is $15. There also will be a raffle for nice gifts. Make a reservation at 978-3267 by Friday, Jan. 15.
* Student Health Services will be closed from noon-1 p.m. today (Thursday, Jan. 7) and Friday, Jan. 8.
