Faculty and staff who want to help at The Lord's Diner need to have a food handler's license. A food handler's class will be held at 9:30 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 9, at the Valley Center First UMC at 560 N. Park (Meridian and 85th St) in Valley Center. These classes are a convenient way to get training on a weekend. Another opportunity will be at 9:30 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 13, at St. Vincent in Andover.
