WSU nursing student makes appearance on 'The Price is Right’

Wichita State University nursing student Hayley Fry had an unusual opportunity last fall while attending California State Northridge as part of the National Student Exchange program.

While attending a taping of “The Price is Right” show, she heard announcer Rich Fields say, “Hayley Fry, come on down!” Fry can’t talk about the results of the contest that included a Mustang as a prize, although she did warn that “my jaw drops to the floor” when the car is revealed.

Viewers will be able to see the outcome for themselves when the show is broadcast on CBS on Tuesday, Jan. 12.
