Student Ambassador Society member and education major Naomi Streck is trying to return for spring semester classes at WSU after surviving an earthquake in Haiti. The Streck family received a text message from Naomi saying she is alright and unharmed. It is the belief and hope that American citizens will be transported out of Haiti by the United States military from the airport although no one knows for sure how quickly this will happen. Streck was in Haiti with the organization Haiti Lifeline Ministries.
