Policy on prohibiting sexual harassment revised

President Beggs has approved the following revision to the WSU Policies and Procedures Manual:
3.06 / Prohibiting Sexual Harassment -- http://webs.wichita.edu/inaudit/ch3_06.htm
To provide general updating and recognize the important role played by the Office of Human Resources in accepting and investigating complaints of sexual harassment and in providing educational programming for the University community.

Where the policy had recognized the Director of Equal Employment Opportunity as the principal administrator to oversee and mediate complaints of sexual harassment, the revised policy also identifies the Director of Human Resources in that role. Generally, statements regarding that role now refer to "the Director of Equal Employment Opportunity or the Director of Human Resources."
