Interested faculty, staff and students are welcome to participate in an interdisciplinary seminar every Tuesday during the semester from 2-3:30 p.m. starting today (Tuesday, Jan. 26), in 353 Jabara Hall. The seminar is hosted by professor Chunsheng Ma. We will discuss how to model the climate data using stochastic and statistic techniques and high performance computers and to assess climate change impact on regional patterns of land cover, water use and others. This program is supported by a Kansas NSF EPSCoR grant with an interdisciplinary, inter-institutional and inter-sector partnership.
