KMUW to air interview with Jay Price

Jay Price, associate professor of history and director of the Public History Program at WSU, is one of the authors of a new book, "Wichita's Lebanese Heritage." The Lebanese people, who began as peddlers when they arrived in the Wichita area in the 1890's, quickly became a vibrant part of the community from starting grocery stores and dry goods companies to real estate, supermarkets and the professions. An interview with Price by KMUW's Frank Dudgeon will air at 5:50 a.m., 7:50 a.m. and 9:50 a.m. Friday, Feb. 5, on KMUW 89.1. The interview also will be posted at http://www.kmuw.org beginning Friday morning.
