The WSU Department of Geology, in coordination with the Department of Geology at the University of Kansas, will hold a colloquium at 4 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 4, featuring Katie Keranen from the University of Oklahoma. She will present "The Role of Magmatism in Continental Extension: A Perspective from the East-African Rift System." The colloquium will be held in the Wireless Learning Space at the Media Resources Center. Interested faculty, staff or students are welcome to attend. Admission is free.
