The French section of the Department of Modern and Classical Languages and Literatures invites you to take part in spring 2010 French activities at Wichita State. The first event is the video "Contre Vents Contre Marees. Portrait du peuple Cadien" at 3:30 p.m. Friday, Feb. 12, in 310 Jardine Hall. Get into the swing of Mardi Gras and discover insights into the cultural identity of the Cajun people of Louisiana with this historical documentary told from the contemporary perspective of one of its sons, the Francophone singer, songwriter and poet Zachary Richard.
