* The Office of Multicultural Affairs has planned a Lantern Festival, a celebration of the Lunar New Year and Asian culture, from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. today (Thursday, Feb. 11) in RSC Shocker Square. Celebrate the Year of the Tiger with free games, prizes and entertainment.

* The French section of the Department of Modern and Classical Languages and Literatures invites you to see the video "Contre Vents Contre Marees. Portrait du peuple Cadien" at 3:30 p.m. Friday, Feb. 12, in 310 Jardine Hall. The video is in French without subtitles. * Special Collections is featuring an exhibit of selections from the Gordon Parks Papers --"Voices from the Archive: Celebrating the Gordon Parks Papers in Special Collections, Wichita State University Libraries." The materials can be viewed in cases outside Special Collections whenever the library is open now through Monday, May 31.

* The Heskett Center is offering adult swimming lessons for individuals age 18 and older who would like to learn to swim in a class setting. Beginner's lessons are offered on Tuesday/Thursday evenings from 7-7:45 p.m. from Feb. 16-March 11. For more information contact Sheana at 978-5311.
