KPTS will broadcast a fun science program for middle school students to adults called "Super Materials and The People Who Make Them" at 7 p.m. today (Thursday, Feb. 11). The program features the National Institute for Aviation Research and is hosted by former Wichita TV news anchor Anita Cochran, who is teaching two classes in the Elliott School of Communication this semester. The program explores composite materials and how they are changing the world, plus some of the new jobs available in the composite field. The show also will be shown at 2:30 p.m. Friday, Feb. 12, and 12:30 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 13. The video also can also be seen at http://www.img-pictures.com/supermaterials.html.
